Pastor Chad Delhotal was born March 7, 1978 in Dixon, IL. He was born again at the age of ten after riding a bus to a children's program at First Baptist Church of Amboy. He surrendered his life to the Lord at age 16 and soon afterwards felt called to preach the gospel. After graduating cum laud with a BA in Pastoral Theology/Greek from Fairhaven Baptist College, he married his high school sweet-heart LeeAnne Johnson on September 22, 2000. They now have four children; Abigail (5), Nehemiah (4), Elijah (2) and Azariah and live in nearby Ohio, IL.

While in college, Pastor Delhotal began traveling home on weekends to work as Youth Pastor and operate a bus route for the church in Amboy. After graduating, he also taught in the Christian school, directed the choir and later ran the Reformers Unanimous addictions program.

July of 2007, Pastor Delhotal held the first morning service of what would later become Heritage Baptist Church and has been the pastor of Heritage since its founding, September 30, 2007.

Pastor Delhotal's life verses are Psalm 71:15-16:

"My mouth shall shew forth thy righteousness and thy salvation all the day; for I know not the numbers thereof. I will go in the strength of the Lord God: I will make mention of thy righteousness even of thine only.”
